The CJC has mobilized since the 2024 war that is hitting Lebanon to help 500 displaced families from southern Lebanon who have found refuge with relatives in various Lebanese regions. These families had to leave their homes and villages suddenly, without having time to take their belongings. They are often welcomed by parents who themselves are in need and they thus become a heavy burden for these host families. The CJC has decided to provide food crates to these families, medicines as far as the dispensary's capacities allow, diapers for children and the elderly, milk for children, hygiene products, blankets and clothes. In addition, food, diapers and medicines are regularly sent to the village of Rmeich in the south to help families who have not been able to leave this village. In Zahlé, pizza cakes are distributed daily in the mornings as breakfast to children whose families are accommodated in public schools. The goal is to ensure them a consistent meal in the morning.
